"Great brands are beautiful from the inside out. They develop sound values and use those values as a filter for all that they do."
- Debra Fleury
Manager, Branding and Communications
With degrees and experience in both design and marketing, Debra has unusual insight into the power of brand and its thoughtful expression. This sensitivity makes her essential to Altitude’s strategy team, aligning project goals with brand considerations. Debra also manages the communications team, overseeing naming, identity development, establishment of brand guidelines, and the execution of graphic brand expressions. In short, she brings a brand to life. In this role, she is both visionary and detail oriented, and she does it all with her characteristic warmth and wit.
Debra spent the first part of her career developing and executing all aspects of marketing strategy for a health information company and later a home goods manufacturer. In this capacity she saw firsthand the benefits of well defined and integrated branding–and was inspired to pursue a degree in graphic design. She came to Altitude after a lengthy tenure at a brand consulting firm, where she led graphic communications initiatives and brand development projects for clients in the music, educational, retail, and manufacturing sectors.
Outside of Altitude, Debra occasionally teaches package design and mentors students at the Massachusetts College of Art. She is also an accomplished sculptor, primarily working in the medium of ceramics.
