Dako Cytomation turned to Altitude to streamline the cumbersome and complex staining process pathologists had to endure to identify cell types and tissue irregularities. We optimized the user experience, resulting in a 50% reduction in set-up time. A patented valve scheme for reagent bottles ensured an ongoing returning revenue stream of Dako Cytomation reagent, and provided a mechanism for quality control. It was the first instrument in the industry to provide automation for both immunohisto chemical and complex special stains.
